Okay, this movie albeit 2yrs old is FABULOUS!!! I knew I would buy it the day I saw it in the theater. I own it now of course and watch it whenever I need a good cry. I ************ this movie for the very first time. I totally disagree with the critics. While yes, it may depict an overly dramatized way of atoning for one's misgivings & pain, it at the same time portrayed a level selflessness that obviously is far beyond those same critics comprehension. I think the reason people didnt like it was becuz they dont like the fact of will smith playing a more mature parts then he has in the past, like he had in the wild wild west, MIB, Hancock, but persuite of happyness and 7 pounds showed that can b an all around actor

Okay, so I gave a detailed review and it totally disapeared !! Loved this movie - a real tear-jerker ! Will Smith was fantastic in this, very intense and totally believable.
