Miles ahead in terms of production values and a conscious avoidance of overt proselytizing. It will likely be an enormous success with the evangelical communities at which it's targeted. That doesn't save it from being an utter failure outside that narrow context. show more

  • Overlong and entirely too ambitious in the number of “issues” it tries to cover, To Save a Life wanders all over the place before reaching its very predictable conclusions. show more

  • Produced with the best of intentions by a California church and directed without distinction by first-timer Brian Baugh, To Save a Life would be bland and boring even as a half-hour after-school special. show more

I to think this movie would safe lives. If we would just set down with our preteen and let them know that there is hope in God today. Allot of young people could be saved from a life that they think is not worth living.

I believe every teenager should see this movie, and not just from a christianity point of view, but because it would change their actions and feelings towards eachother. Being a teenager is tough, this could open peoples eyes and hearts.
