Bryan Cranston is wigging out in this trailer for "Godzilla," and after hearing that enormous lizard's roar yesterday, we can't really blame him. We got a peek at "Godzilla" last December, but the humans and how they're dealing with the literal fall-out from the monster's attack take center stage in the first official trailer from Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Cranston is no longer the one who knocks, y'all. That honor goes to Godzilla, which has managed to devastate the Statue of Liberty with just an errant swipe of its giant tail. The trailer offers some background detail on how this monster came to be, thanks to voiceovers from Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins's characters, as well as a few choice scenes of colossal damage and chaos around the world.

"The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control and not the other way around," intones Watanabe, while all Aaron Taylor-Johnson's character wants to know is if they can kill it. Will this monster become the destroyer of our world? We'll find out on May 16, 2014, when "Godzilla" opens in both 2D and 3D.
