Television Academy Presents An Evening With The Women Of "American Horror Story" - Arrivals
"American Horror Story" staple Kathy Bates has been confirmed to join the cast of the newest incarnation, "Hotel" -- and this time, she's running the show.

"AHS" creator Ryan Murphy shared the news on Twitter, writing that Bates would indeed be back for another round in the horror anthology series, and in fact, would be "running the Hotel." Bates previously appeared on "Coven" (for which she scored an Emmy) and last season's "Freak Show."
Bates joins an impressive and eclectic cast of already-announced stars, including Lady Gaga, Chloe Sevigny, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, and Cheyenne Jackson.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is slated to open sometime this fall on FX.
