ABC announced fall premiere dates for its new and returning shows, the last network to do so (see dates for CBS, The CW, Fox, and NBC).

The schedule kicks off with a new season of long-running reality series "Dancing With the Stars" and with the Emmy Awards, which airs on ABC this year.

The most notable change on ABC's lineup is the absence of "Scandal," due to star Kerry Washington's pregnancy. The drama will debut in midseason, breaking up Shonda Rhimes' "TGIT" block. Instead, new show "Notorious" will take its spot. And on Wednesdays, with "Nashville" moving to CMT, Kiefer Sutherland's "Designated Survivor" takes over at 10 p.m.

Joining "Scandal" in midseason are "American Crime," "The Catch," "Downward Dog," "Imaginary Mary," "Still Star-Crossed," "Time After Time" and "When We Rise."
