"Supergirl" is making good time.

The superhero drama is moving from CBS to The CW this fall for its second season, but will fly to its new home sooner than expected. The CW plans to rerun the entirety of season 1 before season 2 premieres Oct. 10. Starting Aug. 1, two episodes of "Supergirl" will air every Monday leading up to the premiere.

"Supergirl's" move unites her with her DC Comics pals on "Arrow" and "The Flash" (which was part of a crossover earlier this year), as well as "Legends of Tomorrow."

Season 2 is shaping up to be a big one for "Supergirl." "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin appears in the first two episodes as Kara's (Melissa Benoist) cousin — ya know, Superman. And Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter will play the president of the United States.
