Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson's next collaboration is starting to take shape.

The actor and director last teamed up 10 years ago for "There Will Be Blood," so this untitled project has been followed with eager eyes. Details were sketchy, however, as photos emerged of Day-Lewis filming on location.

Now, Focus Features has released an official synopsis: "The new movie is a drama set in the couture world of 1950s London. The story illuminates the life behind the curtain of an uncompromising dressmaker commissioned by royalty and high society."

That's in line with the period costumes and set dressing (like '50s-era cars) seen in the pics.

Focus also announced that the cast will include Lesley Manville ("Another Year") and Vicky Krieps ("A Most Wanted Man."

There's some speculation that Day-Lewis might be playing Charles James, a British-born fashion designer who became known as "America's First Couturier." But James lived in New York for most of the '50s. Another possibility is Norman Hartnell, who designed Queen Elizabeth II's wedding dress and coronation gown.
