Fans of the classic Spike Lee film "She's Gotta Have It" will have something extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving: the premiere of the comedy-drama adapted to series.
Thanks to a new teaser, we now know that the show will arrive on Netflix on Nov. 23. The series will premiere with 10 episodes, all directed by creator Lee, who also produces. They'll give the 1986 movie a modern-day update as we again watch Nola Darling -- this time played by DeWanda Wise -- navigate her late 20s, including her art career, friendships, life in Brooklyn, and three lovers.
The teaser is only 15 seconds long, but it gives us a hint at all of that, plus reveals the premiere date. Watch below.
In addition to Wise, the cast also includes Cleo Anthony, Lyriq Bent, Anthony Ramos, Chyna Layne, Ilfenesh Hadeara, Margot Bingham, Sydney Morton, and Joie Lee.
