All the cool kids are doing TV these days.

Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston are joining forces for an upcoming television series, THR reports. The two movie stars are set to star in and executive produce the project, which will focus on the New York City media scene, and morning shows in particular.

Now both Emmy-nominated actresses, the two previously shared the small screen when Aniston starred as Rachel Green on "Friends," and Witherspoon guest starred as her sister. Aniston hasn't starred in a TV series since then, so fans will be happy to see her make her triumphant return. Meanwhile, Witherspoon recently starred in HBO's acclaimed limited series "Big Little Lies."

We don't know much about the series' plot at this point, but the idea for the project comes from HBO vet Michael Ellenberg. Jay Carson ("House of Cards") is attached to write the script, and Steven Kloves and Lauren Levy Neustadter are also executive producing. The series is expected to land at a premium network or streaming service. Given its A-list headliners, it probably won't come cheap.
