"Pretty Little Liars" is over, but Freeform isn't ready to leave the show's characters behind.

The network has given a pilot order to "The Perfectionists," a "PLL" spinoff starring Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, Deadline reports. Like "Pretty Little Liars," the new project is based on a book series by Sara Shepard and adapted by I. Marlene King. Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Productions are again producing in association with Warner Horizon Television.

Pieterse and Parrish will be back as Alison and Mona, respectively, but they'll move to from Rosewood to Beacon Heights. Unfortunately for them -- but not viewers -- the two characters can't seem to get away from small towns with darkness lying under the surface. Freeform Executive Vice President of Programming and Development Karey Burke describes Beacon Heights as holding "just as many secrets and lies as Rosewood did."

With murder and mystery, "The Perfectionists" sounds enticing for "Pretty Little Liars" fans missing their favorite show.
