Amy Schumer had a big surprise for fans this week: The comedian got hitched to boyfriend Chris Fischer.

Us Weekly was the first to break the news, revealing on Thursday that Schumer and Fischer, a chef, tied the knot on Tuesday, February 13 in a top secret ceremony in Malibu, California. The event, held at a rented mansion on the ocean, was a star-studded affair, with celeb invitees including Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow, Larry David, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chelsea Handler, Jerry Seinfeld, and David Spade, among others.

Despite that impressive guest list, insiders told Us Weekly that the event was "very chill" and "thrown together last minute," with Schumer sending a text to pals that day asking if they could attend. In a series of photos shared on Instagram, Schumer confirmed her newlywed status, stating in a succinct caption, "Yup."

The comedian shared a bunch of beautiful snaps from the nuptials, showing off her simple yet stunning gown, and revealing that the couple's dogs were also a part of the ceremony. Schumer's sister and frequent collaborator, Kim Carmele, served as a bridesmaid.

Schumer and Fischer -- a prominent chef and cookbook author whose restaurant, Beach Plum, is a favorite spot of former president and first lady Barack and Michelle Obama -- have reportedly been dating since October 2017, though they've kept a fairly low profile. In a follow-up post to her wedding announcement Thursday, the comedian clarified that she's "not pregnant," just very much in love.
