This trailer is so much better than the previous one. Should we thank Ron Howard and his reshoots?

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" has been a troubled story so far, with the director switcheroo so late into production. Fans appeared to lower their expectations for this standalone, but the official trailer has the hype train back in motion.

For one, Alden Ehrenreich definitely seems more like Han Solo. He'll never be Harrison Ford, but that's a given. Also, Donald Glover has a great introduction as Lando, aka the "best smuggler around":

"Everything you've heard about me ... is true."

We also finally see Paul Bettany's character, Dryden Vos, described as a "big shot gangster" by Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett.

But the best and most encouraging part of the trailer is the dynamic between Han and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo). This relationship is key, and it's new in the timeline of "Solo."

Speaking of new, Chewie reveals his exact age in this movie, to the surprise of Han Solo himself:

"You're 190-years-old?! You look great!"

He must be using some amazing hair products.

Like Han, we now have a really good feeling about this. Check out the trailer:You might wanna buckle up, baby.

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" -- starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Paul Bettany -- opens in theaters May 25.
