Try not to react too loudly:  Paramount has set a release date for the sequel to "A Quiet Place."

The upcoming horror flick will hit theaters on May 15, 2020, Deadline reports. It will follow up the original starring John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe. The film was such a box office hit that the sequel was confirmed just weeks after its April release.

Krasinski, who directed the film, is reportedly writing the sequel, and he previously shared that he has a lot of ideas for where it could go. While speaking to Deadline in May, he pointed out how there were other survivors and said it would be "interesting to see what's going on, elsewhere at this same time." So far, he hasn't revealed whether or not the sequel will again center on Lee (Krasinski), Evelyn (Blunt), and the rest of the Abbott family.

At this point, there are a lot of details that remain a mystery, but at least we know the film's release date. Be ready for more scares when "A Quiet Place 2" opens on May 15, 2020.
