After 15 years on "Saturday Night Live," Kenan Thompson is lining up his own show.

Deadline reports that Thompson is developing "Saving Larry," with "SNL" creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels.

"Superstore" exec producer Jackie Clarke wrote the script, which is about a newly single dad (Thompson) who must contend with his intrusive father-in-law.

Thompson just set a record as the longest-running member of "SNL." If "Saving Larry" is a go, it's likely he'll be leaving the long-running NBC series for good.

He received his first Emmy nomination this year for "SNL" sketches including "What Up With That?" and "Black Jeopardy!"

Before that, he starred on Nickelodeon's "All That" and its spinoff, "Kenan & Kel."
