"Saturday Night Live" is set to return for its 44th season later this month, and now, the show has revealed who will be headlining the proceedings.

In a Twitter post on Monday, "SNL" announced that Adam Driver would be hosting the season premiere, while Kanye West would serve as the show's musical guest.

Both have appeared on the Studio 8H stage before, though West has a bit more experience, having served as musical guest six times (two of those appearances were also on the season premiere episode), and inspiring plenty of parodies over the years. Driver, meanwhile, hosted for the first time back in season 41, memorably sending up his "Star Wars" alter ego.

"SNL" has been in the news a lot recently, racking up a ton of Emmy nominations, and already snagging a few statuettes at last week's Creative Arts ceremony. (Congrats are in order for guest host Tiffany Haddish, as well as Kenan Thompson, the show's longest-serving cast member ever, who took home his first-ever Emmy for co-writing the hilarious R&B parody tune "Come Back Barack.") And Weekend Update co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che  will be hosting the primetime Emmys ceremony, which airs on Monday night on NBC.
