Everyone knows that "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro owns the Carlton dance, which he's been doing since the '90s.

Now the actor is suing Fortnite developer Epic Games Inc., and Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. over a very similar-looking dance in their game called "The Fresh.

The lawsuits ask a California federal court to bar the game developers from using, selling or displaying the dance. He's also asking for damages.

Ribeiro, who is in the process of copyrighting "the Carlton," says in the paperwork that he is "inextricably linked" to the dance, which he first performed during the show's 1991 Christmas episode.

"Twenty-seven years later, The Dance remains distinctive, immediately recognizable, and inextricably linked to Ribeiro's identity, celebrity, and likeness," the lawsuits say.

Ribeiro also performed his signature move during his 2014 stint on "Dancing with the Stars," to, of course, Tom Jones singing "It's Not Unusual." Busting out the Carlton probably helped him and partner Witney Carson win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

Ribeiro is not the first celebrity to sure Fortnite. Lawsuits are pending that Epic Games also ripped off Russell Horning (aka "Backpack Kid")'s dance "Floss" in 2016" and rapper 2 Milly's dance "Milly Rock" in 2015.

"More plaintiffs are coming out of the woodwork each day," said Attorney David L. Hecht, who is representing both 2 Milly and Horning.

Ribeiro currently hosts "America's Funniest Home Videos."
