‘Murderbot’: Steve Buscemi, Wanda Sykes & Patton Oswalt Join Season 2
The Apple sci-fi comedy thriller has added a whole host of names to its roster for the second season including Blair Underwood, Michael Sheen and more.

What’s the story of ‘Murderbot’?

Adapted from Martha Wells’ book series, sci-fi thriller/comedy about a self-hacking security construct (Skarsgård) who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients.
Created by Chris and Paul Weitz, in Season 1, Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.
Season 1 cast members returning beyond Skarsgård include Noma Dumezweni, David Dastmalchian, Sabrina Wu, Akshay Khanna, Tattiawna Jones and Tamara Podemski.
When will ‘Murderbot’ Season 2 be on our screens?
Good question! With production just kicking off, we don't even have speculation as to when the show will return.
