Anna Paquin Laughs off Her BBC Breast Incident on 'Conan': 'I Have to Claim My Own Boobs'
In case it wasn't already clear that "True Blood" star's recent appearance on "Conan" erased any doubts.
Paquin sat down with the late-night show's host, Conan O'Brien, on Tuesday, and she wasn't at all fazed when he brought up an August 2017 incident involving her breasts being shown during a BBC broadcast. As the actress explained, it appeared to be an accident. The "BBC News at Ten" presenter was sitting in front of a transparent partition, thus allowing viewers to see several computer screens on the other side. Awkwardly -- for the BBC, not Paquin -- cameras were rolling as a "True Blood" sex scene came on one of them.
Not long after the news broadcast, people started tweeting about it, accusing the BBC of showing porn. Paquin, who was in the U.K. at the time to shoot a film in Scotland, saw the controversy on Twitter, and couldn't help but click, as she told O'Brien. That led her to a funny discovery: "I'm like, 'Oh, those are my t*ts!'"
Paquin thought it was so hilarious that she retweeted it, writing, "MY BREASTS!! SO FUNNY ON SO MANY LEVELS!"

"I was like, 'I have to claim my own boobs,'" she told O'Brien of her decision to share the story. "Come on. ... Like, free the nipple or whatever."
