Marvel should just go ahead and cast Anthony Mackie as the next Spider-Man villain.

By now, you've probably seen the many clips of "Avengers" stars Anthony Mackie (Sam/Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky/Winter Soldier) tag-teaming their trash talk of Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man). Each clip is hilarious. It's obvious the guys get along well and it's all in good fun. Holland never seems to give it back as good as he gets, though, and no one dishes it out better than Mackie.

Mackie was just on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" to promote his role in the new movie "Detroit." First, Colbert asked him about the "Avengers" movies. Mackie said they're currently between filming, having recently finished "Avengers: Infinity War" and soon to start up with "Avengers 4."

Mackie teased that his character, Sam/Falcon, gets to "kick a lot of ass" in "Infinity War."

Colbert brought out a photo of Tom Holland, mentioning how Mackie spent the better part of a month making fun of the Spider-Man star.

Anthony Mackie: "I mean, look at the guy. Really."

Stephen Colbert: "You complain about his squeaky voice?"

Mackie: "It's just a problem. He's a wildly annoying person. It's impressive."

Colbert: "What is annoying?"

Mackie: "Everything. He's so little. He's like a Shih Tzu. It's like 'Hey, Anthony, xfdsafdsaaaaa!' I'm like 'Tom, just stop. Take off the Spandex. Stop. It's too much, man. It's too much.'"

Colbert: "How did he take it?"

Mackie: "Well, you know, he's one of those kids, when you tell him to shut up, he'll shut up. But when you leave, he'll start right back talking. You're leaving, he's texting you 'Hey, where'd you go?'"

Poor Tom Holland. But seriously. Keep this going, because it's gold.

Watch the interview:"Avengers: Infinity War" opens May 4, 2018. "Detroit" is now open in theaters.
