Bones."

White, who just wrapped a six-season stint on "Hot in Cleveland," will next appear on an episode of the Fox procedural's 11th season as Dr. Beth Mayer, a forensic anthropologist who's as experienced with crime-solving as White is with acting. TVLine first reported the news, with White later confirming the role on Twitter.

According to TVLine, Dr. Mayer is "an accomplished, sharp as a tack squintern who is brought in to assist in a murder linked to fantasy football — which just happens to be one of her many areas of expertise. With a half century of work under her belt, Dr. Mayer is considered the world's most experienced forensic anthropologist, which will lead to some serious competition with Emily Deschanel's Brennan."

Sounds like a juicy role that will be lots of fun for White and "Bones" fans alike. We can't wait to see her go head-to-head with Deschanel.

"Bones" kicks off season 11 on October 1. White's episode is scheduled to air sometime in late October.
