On their vacation from "Saturday Night Live," Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan made a movie ... about going on vacation.

Of course, this is one wacky vacation. Killam plays a straight-laced guy who goes on a holiday with the family of his girlfriend (Gillian Jacobs). He's planning to propose, but things go awry thanks to the presence of her brother Todd (Moynihan), who is a big ball of goofy fun. "I've always wanted a brother!" Todd exclaims. Meanwhile, for Killam's Roger, Todd "has been ruining my life all week."
Killam wrote the script with Mikey Day (an "SNL" writer) and Cameron Fay. The two "SNL" players are joined in the good times by a brilliant cast: Rita Wilson, Bill Pullman, Kumail Nanjiani, Kenan Thompson, Giancarlo Esposito, and David Wain.

It's not exactly the most original concept — oh, a wild animal gets a little ornery? Killam gets stung all over his face? Even so, the two main actors can be very funny on "SNL," and that cast can't be beat.

"Brother Nature" opens September 9.
