Bryan Cranston is ready to be Walter White again.

On the heels of yesterday's stunning news that "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan is working on a follow-up movie, Cranston confirmed the project's existence and revealed more details about the project — including the question of his participation.

"I would, absolutely," the Emmy-winning actor said of appearing in the movie . "If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely.""

But Cranston noted he hasn't even read the script, so whether Walter White will play a role in the movie still remains unclear. Fans have been speculating the movie will center instead on Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman.

The plot summary says the movie "tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom," which sounds much more like Jesse. The last we saw of him, he was driving away from the shoot-out with the cartel that left Walter (seemingly) mortally wounded.

Cranston is definitely of the mind that the "Breaking Bad" story should continue. "There’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to these storylines that were left open, and this idea, from what I’m told, gets into those ... at least a couple of the characters who were not completed, as far as their journey."
