'Charlie's Angels' Gets New November Release Date
The upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot is still coming out in November, but it now has a new release date.
The action comedy flick has been pushed back two weeks to Nov. 15, Deadline reports. It was previously scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 1, putting it up against "Terminator: Dark Fate." Now, they won't go head-to-head over opening weekend after all.
The new date coincides with the debuts of two dramas, "The Good Liar" and an untitled James Mangold film, as well as the rom-com "Last Christmas." In theory, "Charlie's Angels" will now see less competition than it would against a more similar film -- and one that's part of a major franchise to boot.
"Charlie's Angels" stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the crime-fighting women at the center of the story. It is based on the iconic TV series, which was later adapted for the big screen in 2000's "Charlie's Angels," starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu. The reboot is directed by Elizabeth Banks.
Mark your calendar for Nov. 15, Angels.
