Stand-up comedian Kevin Barnett, who co-created the Fox sitcom "Rel” starring Lil Rel Howery, has passed away at age 32.

Last Podcast Network, which hosts Barnett’s "The Roundtable of Gentleman" show, posted this statement to its website: “It it with a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of Kevin Barnett, The joy he brought to our lives is the greatest gift we have ever received. Remind your friends you love them because you never know when you’ll see them again. We love you KB.”

The cause of death has not yet been announced.

Barnett also wrote for "Broad City," "Unhitched," Adult Swim’s "The Eric Andre Show” and the animated comedy “Lucas Bros Moving Co" on Fox. And he was a regular on MTV2’s "Guy Code."

Comedy Central paid tribute to the comedian on Twitter, saying: "Kevin Barnett was an incredible comedian and writer, contributing to Broad City, the stand-up community and beyond. He’ll be greatly missed."

Barnett's last Instagram message was posted from Mexico on January 19. Variety reports that he died in Mexico while on vacation.
