Damian Lewis will be spending a lot of time in the makeup chair.

The "Billions" star is playing Rob Ford, the controversial deceased mayor of Toronto who was caught smoking crack on video, in "Run This Town." The drama is currently in production, and according to an interview in Kit magazine, Lewis will wear a prosthetic to play Ford.

Very little is known about the project other than that it follows a reporter (Ben Platt) attempting to expose a scandal involving a politician who doesn't play by the rules. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the politician is Ford.

Fictitious aides played by Nina Dobrev and Mena Massoud try to protect him by suppressing the story. The cast also includes Scott Speedman and Jennifer Ehle.

Ford was mayor of Toronto from 2010 to 2014. He had already had a background of substance abuse and public intoxication, and during his term, a video surfaced of him smoking crack cocaine. He was also accused of sexual assault. Ford died in 2016 at the age of 46.
