David James Elliott Will Revive 'JAG' Character For 'NCIS: Los Angeles'
Happy news, "JAG" fans. David James Elliott will be back as Navy Captain Harmon Rabb Jr. in a multi-episode arc on "NCIS: Los Angeles."
He will make his debut in the May 12 episode, "The Guardian."
The CBS drama "JAG," which ran for 10 episodes, started the entire NCIS franchise back in 1995. This will, however mark the first time we see Harm on of the NCIS shows.
We find Rabb is now the XO Captain on the USS Intrepid and has to work directly with the NCIS's Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) to thwart a potential ISIS attack on US aircraft carriers.
“I was really excited to get a chance to work with David again," "NCIS: Los Angeles" showrunner R. Scott Gemmil told Deadline. "I did the first 4 seasons of 'JAG' with him so to be able to work together again in and of itself is great–but to do so with the same character... this many years later—that’s pretty damn amazing. Bringing Harmon Rabb to work with 'NCIS: Los Angeles' makes for a formidable coalition, and both entities are going to need all the help they can get when confronted with the greatest challenge of their careers.”
Elliott is currently in production on Netflix’s upcoming figure skating series "Spinning Out." He also appeared in the 2016 ABC's "Secrets & Lies" and guest-starred as a love interest for Allison Janney on "Mom."
