Prepare to sacrifice yet another year of your life on the altar of Disney/Pixar/Marvel/Lucasfilm movies.

Disney just had a big presentation at CinemaCon 2018 in Las Vegas, showing theater owners snippets from the 2018-2019 film slate. The new footage shown isn't being released to the public -- The Rest Of Us will have to wait to see anything Disney feels like sharing, unless clips are leaked. But various outlets have been posting about what was shown.

According to Collider, new footage was revealed from "Incredibles 2," "Solo: A Star Wars Story," "Ant-Man and the Wasp," "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2," "Dumbo," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Aladdin," "Christopher Robin," "Mary Poppins Returns," "Nutcracker and the Four Realms," and "a lot more."

"Infinity War" is already opening this week, and fans don't really need more footage from that. But fans may be curious to see footage from the live-action versions of "Aladdin," "The Lion King," and "Dumbo" -- plus other films coming out a bit later that have yet to release trailers.

According to Variety, the 90-minute presentation ended with "The Circle of Life" opening sequence to Jon Favreau's "The Lion King." The site added that "Exhibitors were also impressed by the early footage from 'Dumbo,' directed by Tim Burton and loosely inspired by the 1941 animated film. The period movie includes Danny DeVito as the circus ringmaster and Michael Keaton as the owner. The footage included image of the CGI pachyderm with massive ears, but did not include any actual flying by the elephant." And they added that "Attendees also gave a positive response to footage from the live-action 'Aladdin,' starring Will Smith as the Genie."

Disney also posted a timeline of its upcoming films for the rest of 2018 and 2019. That's the photo above (via @KnightGambit). Here's the list of movies shown on the timeline:

  • "Avengers: Infinity War"
  • "Solo: A Star Wars Story"
  • "Incredibles 2"
  • "Ant-Man and The Wasp"
  • "Christopher Robin"

In case you're wondering why the live-action "Mulan" isn't listed, its release date was already revealed to be pushed back to March 27, 2020. And if you're wondering about Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2," it's still scheduled for a July 5, 2019 release, it's just considered a Sony movie, not Marvel/Disney.
