There's an Ellen DeGeneres standup comedy special coming to Netflix this year, but if you can't wait, it's possible to see the show before it ever starts streaming.

DeGeneres is launching an eight-show tour this August and she unveiled the dates Thursday. As the comedian and talk show host pointed out in a tweet, it's been 15 years since her last standup shows, so this is a big deal.

It is during this tour that the Netflix special will be filmed, Deadline reports, meaning that attendees will get to be DeGeneres's first viewers. Realistically, we can't all go (sadly), but viewers living near the cities where the tour is set to stop can try to catch the show. The comedian will perform in San Diego and San Francisco, California, as well as Seattle, Washington, and a pre-sale for Ticketmaster verified fans is now underway.

If it does seem feasible for you to make it to one of the three cities, or if you're just curious, the dates of DeGeneres's shows are below:

Aug. 10: San Diego's Balboa Theatre

Aug. 11: San Diego's Balboa Theatre

Aug. 12: San Diego's Balboa Theatre

Aug. 15: San Francsco's Davies Symphony Hall

Aug. 16: San Francsco's Davies Symphony Hall

Aug. 17: San Francsco's Davies Symphony Hall

Aug. 22: Seattle's Benaroya Hall

Aug. 23: Seattle's Benaroya Hall

If you can't make the show, never fear: DeGeneres' standup special is expected to premiere on Netflix before the end of 2018.
