Fox just released the premiere dates for its fall 2017-2018 season, including new shows "The Orville," "The Gifted," and "Ghosted."

Seth MacFarlane's "The Orville" -- a sci-fi dramedy TVLine dubbed a "Star Trek spoof," very much like "Galaxy Quest" -- landed a nice post-NFL premiere date. Fans excited for "The Gifted," starring Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker and connected to the X-Men film series, will have to wait until October 2.

Here's the fall lineup:

Don't worry if you don't see your favorite renewed Fox show -- like "The X-Files" and "New Girl," as well as the new shows "The Resident," "LA to Vegas," and "9-1-1" as they arrive midseason.
