Sophie Turner seems to agree with Kit Harington that the "Game of Thrones" series finale won't make everyone happy.

You had to expect that was the case anyway, but from Turner's perspective it will probably be divisive -- making *some* fans very happy, and others disappointed.

Here's what Turner told IGN about her reaction to reading the "Game of Thrones" ending for the first time:

"A lot of tears. I think, you know, as an actor it was really satisfying -- I think for everyone, everyone’s storylines -- to be able to act out the way that it all ends. It was really satisfying for us. Who knows if it will be satisfying for the fans. I think a lot of fans will be disappointed and a lot of fans will be over the moon, I think. I think it will be really interesting to see people’s reactions, but for me reading the script it was just like heartbreaking to read at the very final page of the script it just says, ‘End of Game of Thrones’. That was really emotional."

Reading between the lines -- never a safe thing to do, but screw it -- it sounds like some major characters must do well while others don't (and possibly die). If you're batting for, just say, Dany to end the series in charge, maybe you'll be disappointed? But if you're Team Jon maybe you'll be over the moon? And  maybe we don't get all the answers we want, all the theories confirmed, or all the fan-service romances paired up. (Brienne doesn't *have* to end up with anyone, you know.)

Turner also repeated more wonderful things about Sansa's storyline, including this note:

"...at the end of this season, I feel she is the most self-assured character in the show."

So she makes it to the end? That would be reassuring. We were worried. We're still worried.

Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) have also spoken about the ending, with Harington cautioning that "not everyone’s going to be happy," but Coster-Waldau saying the pieces all fit together and the show ends as it should. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) just said the final season is "incredible" for the women of Westeros, who are now in charge.

Turner made her comments to IGN while also promoting the first trailer for "X-Men: Dark Phoenix," which just came out.

"Game of Thrones" Season 8, the final season, has six episodes which will premiere at some point in the first half of 2019 on HBO.

For the record, this Iron Throne theory is the No. 1 theory we're hoping pans out. But if not, we'll try to stay over the moon anyway.
