What’s the potential story for a ‘Game of Thrones’ movie?
Given the title, the focus will likely be Aegon I, the first Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, who spawned the Targaryen dynasty — the royal family at the heart of the entire franchise.
Aegon I the Conqueror founded and is the first king of the dynasty and united Westeros with his dragons Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes. There was also Jimmy, but we don't talk about him. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID, JIMMY.
Who else is involved with the new movie?
Though there are zero details to be gleaned in terms of casting yet, we do know that ‘House of Cards’ and ‘Andor’ writer Beau Willimon has crafted the script for the movie.
And planting a flag in summer 2029 seems like a smart play right now –– no one else has a solid title on the spot just yet.
