11 Movies Perfect for a Girl's Night in

It's ladies night, you've got a big tub of popcorn ready to go, and you're not sure what to watch. Well, we know a few movies that pretty much always do the trick. Here are 11 films that are perfect for your ultimate girl's night.

'Dirty Dancing' (1987)

All you '70s and '80s babies out there know how important this film truly is. Take it in and remember what it felt like to see Baby and Johnny fall in love for the first time -- we still squeal every time they master that iconic lift.

'Magic Mike' (2012)

Channing Tatum. Abs. Amazing dancing. Abs. What's not to enjoy? Don't knock it before you try it. Did we mention the abs?

'Bridesmaids' (2011)

When all else fails, "Bridesmaids." It's a rom-com wrapped in a movie about the power of friendship, and practically every scene will have you rolling on the floor. "Who's reaaaaddy to paaaar-taaaay?" You are.

'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' (1997)

People throw around the term #friendshipgoals a lot these days, but can anyone really touch this iconic duo? Watch it and learn. Subsequent interpretive dance to "Time After Time" optional.

'Mean Girls' (2004)

Chances are you've probably seen this movie a zillion times. That means you can watch it, talk, and quote every hilarious moment. It's a timeless re-watch.

'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' (2005)

We're just gonna say it right here: You are not above a YA adaptation about four BFFs who share a pair of magical jeans. This film is a highly-entertaining summer tale of love, coming-of-age, and sticking together when times get tough. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll be thankful for your best friends.

'How Stella Got Her Groove Back' (1996)

Angela Bassett lives her truly best life by escaping the everyday grind to sunny Jamaica, only to have a steamy romance with a beautiful local in the form of Taye Diggs. Watch and live vicariously, people.

'A League of Their Own' (1992)

"There's no crying in baseball!" Except, um, we tear up whenever we hear that "Victory Song" about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Sports, sisters, history -- what more could you want?

'Aliens' (1986)

You wan't a badass, then you call on Ellen Ripley. Sigourney Weaver's interstellar heroine stands the blockbuster test of time in an action-packed sci-fi flick that's perfect for pretty much any night of the week.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (1992)

Speaking of badasses... Yes -- the Sarah Michelle Gellar adaptation is one of the best TV shows ever, but the original has so much campy '90s goodness to savor. Luke Perry, anyone?

'13 Going on 30' (2004)

Life getting you down? "13 Going on 30" is an instant mood booster. It's like a ray of sunshine coated in cotton candy. There's '80s nostalgia, middle school awkwardness we can all relate to, and it's all about second chances and making it right with the people you care about. Enjoy.
