"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 is starting with back-to-back episodes, and they are both "shocking."

The first episode is called "Break Down the House," followed by -- and we should probably worry about this -- "Get Off on the Pain." Hmm.

Here are ABC's synopses for both Thursday, September 28 episodes:

Season 14, Episode 1, "Break Down the House" (directed by Debbie Allen): "Meredith and the team are focused on helping Owen's sister after her shocking return, and Amelia faces a conflict over a patient. Meanwhile, Bailey is forced to give Grey Sloan a facelift after the fire, and the doctors are introduced to a few new faces that spice things up around the hospital."

Season 14, Episode 2, "Get Off on the Pain" (directed by Kevin McKidd): "Meredith struggles to come up with a new plan for Owen's sister. Jo makes a surprising choice regarding Alex, and Andrew's sister's controversial research leads to a shocking discovery."

So we know DeLuca's sister, Dr. Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) arrives right in Episode 1. We've already seen photos of Bailey's "facelift" for Grey Sloan.

The official ABC photos below show a lot of Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) in her welcome return to Dr. Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd) storyline. Interesting to see that the second hour will have Jo make a surprising choice regarding Alex. The Season 13 finale synopsis had mentioned something about Alex making a choice regarding Jo, but there was apparently no time for that storyline to air. Now we're getting it from Jo's side.

Below are photos from both episodes, and also ABC's first footage from the season, which played out in a TGIT promo. That gives us the first look at Abigail Spencer as the recast Megan Hunt, Owen's sister/Nathan Riggs' (Martin Henderson) former girlfriend:EPISODE 1 PHOTOS

Both episodes air in the two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 premiere on Thursday, Sept. 28, starting at 8 p.m. on ABC.
