'Grey's Anatomy' Star Jessica Capshaw Promises Huge Surprise for Arizona in Season 14
You can always expect unexpected developments on "Grey's Anatomy," but Arizona Robbins, in particular, is in for a major surprise come Season 14.
Jessica Capshaw gave fans some new hints about the upcoming season during a recent interview with Town & Country, and she caught our attention with promises of a "huge -- huge! -- surprise" for her character. It is evidently so big she had to say "huge" twice, so color us curious. However, she didn't do much to satisfy that curiosity.
"I can't tell you what it is," she told the publication. "But it's a big one."
That doesn't narrow it down at all, leaving our imaginations to run rampant with possibilities. Could Callie (Sara Ramirez) be returning to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital? (The outlook doesn't seem good so far.) Will there be another pregnancy? Or perhaps she'll be the next one to be blindsided with a secret sibling? The surprise could be anything -- we just hope it's a good one.
Capshaw did have some reassurances for fans on that score.
"I think people can honestly feel good about the fact that she's going to be okay," she said. "I promise you in the end she is going to be just fine."
Let's hope we can hold her to that.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 premieres Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
