More interactions between the doctors of "Grey's Anatomy" and the firefighters of "Station 19" are likely coming.

As the 14th season of the hit ABC medical drama and the first of its spinoff wind down, the network is considering how the two shows should be connected as they continue. During a recent upfront presentation, ABC Entertainment's president, Channing Dungey, hinted they had crossovers in mind, Deadline reports.

"We are looking at more dynamic interplay between the 8 and 9 o'clock hours," she said, referring to the two shows' Thursday time slots.

There is plenty of room for the shows to cross over, of course. Not only could the writers dream up any number of disaster scenarios involving both the fire department and the hospital, but they could try some more fun moments, as well. Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) remains married to Ben Warren (Jason George), who left his job at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to join the Seattle Fire Department. The two could easily bring their colleagues together for something as simple as having a drink at Joe's Bar or a house party.

We'll see how Shondaland manages this "dynamic interplay" when "Grey's Anatomy" Season 15 and "Station 19" Season 2 premiere in the fall.
