Is there even a "Once Upon a Time" without its Savior?!

Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) told Will Malnati's podcast, "The Drop-In" that the whole cast is "in a holding pattern right now" as they await news from ABC about a potential Season 7. Season 6 is still airing -- it'll return March 5 -- but the showrunners and ABC entertainment boss just scared the dearies out of fans by suggesting that if there even is a next season, it might be a "reset" that includes brand new cast members. (Serious question: WHO ASKED FOR THAT?)

So basically Morrison & Co. (cool new potential Storybrooke law firm) are waiting by the phones. Here's what she told the podcast:

"My contract ends in April on 'Once Upon a Time.' I don't know what that means. They haven't picked up the show officially yet — they might, they might not. We are just waiting now to see if the network decides to continue with the show — and if they do continue with the show, if they're going to rework it to be something else, or if they're going to invite people to stay. We're just in a holding pattern right now."

The Powers That Be have talked about wanting to give the show a worthy ending, whenever that comes, and that's what Morrison wants as well. She continued...

"I have a really fierce loyalty to the show. I am fiercely protective of the character. I feel like so many amazing things have come to my life because of it. It's really made my life better in so many ways. I don't have any interest in abandoning something that is such a special part of my life, but I also know I don't have it in me to do it forever, so it's more about a life decision, and I don't even know how to make that life decision until I know what ABC even wants."

Well, we're all on tenterhooks now. Listen to the full podcast here. Worried fans have shown their love for OUAT by tweeting #RenewOUAT, hoping for a happy ending for several characters, including Emma. No, especially Emma.
