Fist bumps for everyone — "Jersey Shore" is back, bitches.

MTV announced it is reviving the reality series in 2018 as "Jersey Shore Family Vacation," featuring all but one of the original cast members. Returning are Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio," Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

The missing cast member is Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, who engaged in an on-again, off-again romance with Ronnie during the original series run.

"Jersey Shore" premiered in 2009 and ran for six seasons over four years, following the antics of housemates as they hit the beach, partied in clubs, and GTL-ed (gym, tan, laundry).

It was a pop culture touchstone. It was one of cable's highest-ranking series, watched by 9 million viewers at its peak. The show spawned several spinoffs, including "Snooki & Jwoww" and various international versions.

The revival is yet another step in MTV's makeover, as it tries to return to its music and reality roots and away from scripted fare. The network already revived its music video show "Total Request Live," though it hasn't exactly been a hit.

"Jersey Shore Family Vacation" is expected to air sometime in 2018.
