"Game of Thrones" finally settled, once and for all, whether Jon Snow is coming back or staying dead.

*Spoilers, obviously*

He came back. So, right after Season 6, Episode 2 aired on the East Coast, Entertainment Weekly posted some quotes from the actor, from an interview done in secret.

So what does Mr. Harington want to say to everyone, now that Jon Snow has been revived in "Home"?

"Sorry! I'd like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I'm glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, 'Fine, Jon Snow's dead.' But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I'm doing — or the show is doing — is right."

Oh, fans cared all right. This poor guy has been hounded for the past 10 months, with fans watching his hair, movements, and everything else for clues. But you have to imagine the actors who play Ser Barristan, Shireen, Stannis, Myrcella, etc., all wish there was this much outcry about their Season 5 deaths.

You can watch Kit apologize to fans via EW's video, but do you really blame him for fudging the truth a bit? What was he supposed to say, "Yes, I did really die, but I come back in Episode 2, via Melisandre as many fans suspected, so just wait a week after the premiere?" He had no choice, and "no comment" wasn't exactly an option when they put him on the Season 6 press tour.

Speaking of press, Kit is on the new EW cover with the headline "He's Alive!" with back-patting from EW and the producers about how they kept Jon's revival a secret, even though fans have been speculating all year that he's not staying dead because it never made sense that our ice king of "A Song of Ice and Fire" would really stay gone. It's not really that shocking, it's just awesome that it finally happened.

Also awesome: Everything else in "Home." Just as awesome, what we think will happen with Jon Snow's story next week.
