Forget the 12 Days of Christmas -- Lifetime is going to have enough new holiday-themed content this year for more than double that time. The network has a lot in the works for its 2019 Yuletide programming. This year, Lifetime has ordered 28 new Christmas movies, according to EW.

With so many films on the way, the channel is positioned to air more new Christmas originals than any other network, per the publication. It will also top its lineup from last year, which included 18 new original Christmas flicks. Even though it's only July now, this feels like a Christmas miracle.

Lifetime is teaming up once again with Melissa Joan Hart and Tia Mowry-Hardrict. They each starred in a holiday flick for Lifetime in 2018 -- "A Very Nutty Christmas" and "My Christmas Inn," respectively. This year, Hart has joined "Christmas Reservations" and will play an event coordinator, while Mowry-Hardict will star in "A Very Vintage Christmas," a film involving a mysterious box full of romantic keepsakes.

Other networks are already looking ahead to December, too. ABC recently announced plans to air a Christmas movie starring Lea Michele. Meanwhile, the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel will have 40 others between them, per EW.

And that's why they call it the most wonderful time of the year.
