Two cast members from the "Legally Blonde" movies are ready to bend and snap for a third movie.

Reese Witherspoon went on record last month that "Legally Blonde 3" is in the works, and former co-stars Matthew Davis and Regina King would sign up for the movie in a heartbeat.

Davis ("The Vampire Diaries") played Warner, the arrogant ex-boyfriend of Elle Woods.

“I’m thrilled, and I don’t know anything,” Davis told Entertainment Weekly at Comic-Con last weekend. "I would love to see where the writers think Warner is at this point.”

“Without Warner, there is no 'Legally Blonde,'” he joked.

He pitched a plot where Warner is married to a female politician running for office. "He's sort of like a kept man," Davis explained. "

"And her opponent is another candidate, and the person running the campaign is Elle Woods."

As for King, who played congressional staffer Grace Rossier in "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde," the Emmy-winning actress did not know a third movie was in development but was enthusiastic about it.

"I freakin’ love Reese,” King said. “And if she asked me to come back, even if it was just for a scene, I would.”
