Kerrigan told TMZ Sports, "Nobody consulted me" about the new Tonya Harding movie, which tells the story of the infamous figure skating attack from Harding's perspective, with Margot Robbie in the lead role and Caitlin Carver as Kerrigan. Kerrigan said she had nothing to do with the movie, but sources told TMZ that her team reached out to producers to try and get an early copy of the script to see how Kerrigan was portrayed. The site said the script exchange didn't end up happening.

Kerrigan told Access Hollywood that she's on the new season of DWTS because "I was invited, finally," after being a fan of the show since the first season. It seems, from here, like the timing is not coincidental, and the casting directors wanted to get in on the Tonya/Nancy action in advance of the movie, which also stars Sebastian Stan, Allison Janney, and Julianne Nicholson.

Access asked Kerrigan what she knows of the Tonya Harding movie. "Just what I've seen in the news. It didn't really have to do with me too much. Or I think. I don't even know." Does she see herself watching the movie? "I already lived through that," she said, shrugging it off with a laugh.

She definitely does not give the impression of wanting to return to Memory Lane, but you know DWTS will make her go there. DWTS Season 24 premieres Monday, March 20 on ABC. There's no official release date yet for "I, Tonya," which started filming in January and already looks pretty fabulous.
