No more giving those movies you really loved on Netflix five stars -- or the ones you hated a measly 1-star rating. The movie site announced it will be replacing its rating system with a simple thumbs up or thumbs down in April. (Can the estate of Roger Ebert sue?)

Per Variety, Netflix VP of Product Todd Yellin told journalists at a press briefing yesterday that testing last year with "hundreds of thousands" of members with the new method resulted in 200% more ratings.

"Five stars feels very yesterday now," Yellin said, according to the Huffington Post. "We're spending many billions of dollars on the titles we're producing and licensing, and with these big catalogs, that just adds a challenge."

So, Netflix users, will you give the new rating system a thumbs up or a thumbs down?
