"The Walking Dead" likes to end its seasons with a splash, and when season 7 concludes April 2, fans can expect to be wowed, shocked, and thrilled. But star Norman Reedus also says this season's finale will be "completely different" from previous ones.

"It has similar elements, but it's completely different," he told Entertainment Weekly. "And you know, there might be a little William Wallace in it."

So does that mean we can expect an epic battle a la "Braveheart"? With a rousing speech from Rick to rally the factions that are going up against Negan and the Saviours?

Perhaps! The finale script did lead co-star Andrew Lincoln to do one of his patented jigs, so maybe Rick does channel William Wallace. Even Reedus got into the dancing mood. "I did the same thing when I read that one," he admitted.

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
