Something newly wicked this way comes on "Once Upon a Time" in Season 7.

The ABC fairy tale drama has cast Australian actress Emma Booth ("Glitch") in a recurring role as a witch who is "as wicked as they come."

It's unclear if she's playing a new version of The Wicked Witch, previously portrayed by Rebecca Mader. Season 7 sees a reboot of "OUAT," focusing on an adult Henry (Andrew J. West), his daughter Lucy, and new versions of Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, and evil stepsister Drizella.

"OUAT" is also bringing back familiar faces from the past, including Giles Matthey as Gideon, the son of Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). De Ravin is no longer a series regular, but she will appear in the fourth episode. Matthey will join her.

The last we saw of Gideon, he had redeemed himself from working with the Black Fairy and reverted back to being a baby. But clearly, he grows up again for new adventures.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 premieres Friday, Oct. 6.
