For its seventh and final season, "Orange Is the New Black" is exploring something new: freedom.

Netflix unveiled a premiere date for Season 7 and several new images, as well as a cast announcement video. All 13 episodes of the final season will debut July 26.

One of the photos shows a newly free Piper (Taylor Schilling) navigating the outside world. In the Season 6 finale, she was released thanks to a mistake made by the newly privatized prison system, despite still having five months left on her sentence.

Her release came just moments after she married Alex (Laura Prepon), who still has four years left on her sentence.

This season, the ladies of Litchfield will be coming to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever. Taystee’s (Danielle Brooks) friendship with Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, Gloria (Selenis Leyva) and her kitchen staff are confronted by the hard truth of their new corporate overlord's newest profit stream, while others chase drugs or dreams and grapple with the reality of their place in this world.

Meanwhile, as Piper struggles with life on the outside, life in the maximum security prison she left behind — as corrupt and unjust as ever — goes on.
