Paul Rudd and Paul Rudd Costar in New Netflix Comedy Series
Double your pleasure, double your Rudd!
Finally, someone has granted our wish to clone Paul Rudd. The "Ant-Man" hero has signed on for "Living With Yourself," a new eight-episode comedy for Netflix.
In the new series, Rudd plays "a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person. He then finds he's been replaced by a new and improved version -- revealing that his own worst enemy is himself." But how could two Paul Rudds ever be bad?
Netflix's is describing this as a "'fresh and inventive' philosophical comedy that asks if people really want to be better."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this project was originally ordered to pilot at IFC last year, although not with Paul Rudd. IFC's budget was reportedly not quite in line with what the producers envisioned, so Netflix picked it up and here we are.
This won't be Paul Rudd's first Netflix series: He co-starred in "Mute," "The Little Prince," "Wet Hot American Summer," and "The Fundamentals of Caring."
No word yet on when "Living With Yourself" will stream.
