Watching "Star Wars" brings out the kid in us, so imagine what it's like filming it.

At this year's "Star Wars" Celebration Europe, "Rogue One" director Gareth Edwards unveiled a behind-the-scenes clip, which played heavily on how the cast and crew feel like their childhood fantasies have come true.

The action-packed clip also contains some new footage. As Jyn Erso, Felicity Jones does a lot of running, leaping, and pointing guns. The clip also provides an inside look at Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, and Donnie Yen filming scenes. There are some amazing locations, too.

"Rogue One" is a standalone film following a group of Rebel fighters as they try to steal the plans for the Empire's newest weapon. As we know from "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope," that weapon is the Death Star and the Rebels are successful. But we just don't know how they did it — and at what cost.

"Rogue One" opens in theaters December 16.
