The '70s series "Fantasy Island" is getting the movie treatment and since it's from Blumhouse, it's no surprise that it's going to lean harder into the horror element of the show.

"Veronica Mars" star Ryan Hansen, who'll play a guest of the island in the movie, told Slashfilm what we can expect from the adaptation.

Michael Peña stars as mysterious wish granter Mr. Roarke (who was played by Ricardo Montalban on the series). But there's no Tattoo in the movie, Hansen says. (Tattoo was played by Hervé Villechaize: Peter Dinklage recently portrayed the troubled star in an HBO movie "My Dinner With Hervé.")

Hansen explained his character's fantasy, which he shares with Jimmy O. Yang. "I wanted a big pimping 'MTV Cribs'-style house, money, ladies, parties, all that kind of stuff,” Hansen said. "That fantasy comes true on 'Fantasy Island.' So we get to live that lifestyle."

While the '70s series alternated scary stories with more lighthearted fantasies, we're guessing that even the innocuous wishes like Hansen's have a dark side in the film.

Other guests getting their wishes fulfilled in the film: Michael Rooker, Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, and Portia Doubleday.

"Fantasy Island" hits theaters on February 28, 2020.
