There's still a lot we don't know about "American Horror Story"'s upcoming sixth season -- its name, its theme, which teaser is really the real teaser, etc. -- but at least we have some idea what the cast will look like. Sarah Paulson, a longtime vet of the series, will indeed be making her return.

Paulson confirmed the news this week at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, telling reporters that she was officially signing up for season six. TVLine reports that the actress "declined to provide any details about who she is playing," which is in keeping with the mysterious series's penchant for clinging closely to plot points in the run-up to the season premiere.

In addition to Paulson, other familiar faces who will be back for more "Horror" include Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, and Angela Bassett. But that's really all we know about season six so far, since FX has said that its promotional materials for the show have been purposefully vague and misleading about this season's theme, and that viewers won't know what that theme will be until the show debuts this fall. At least we have Paulson's sure-to-be epic performance to look forward to.

Season six of "American Horror Story" debuts on September 14.
