"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is still going strong in cinemas, but fans will soon be able to enjoy the flick at home, too: Disney announced on Thursday the official release dates for the film's digital, DVD, and Blu-ray formats.

The digital edition of "The Force Awakens" will be made available first, beginning on April 1 (and no, that's not an April Fools joke). Multiple online retailers will offer the Digital HD version.

Physical formats of the flick will follow on April 5, with a Blu-ray Combo Pack (featuring the flick in three formats: Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD) and a standard DVD version hitting shelves. While bonus features of the digital downloads are set to vary by specific retailer, the physical editions of the film will include the following extras (as outlined by StarWars.com):

  • Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey – For the first time, discover the complete story behind the making of The Force Awakens, revealed through in-depth footage and exclusive interviews with the actors and filmmakers in this feature documentary
  • The Story Awakens: The Table Read – Cast members familiar and new reflect on the memorable day they all first came together to read the movie's script

  • John Williams: The Seventh Symphony – The legendary composer shares personal insights of his work on Star Wars and The Force Awakens
  • ILM: The Visual Magic of The Force – An insider's look into the remarkable digital artistry of the movie's visual effects.
